Uses : Tresivac PFS Vaccine is a prescription medicine. This combination of three vaccines is used to prevent measles, mumps, and rubella. It stimulates the immune system to act against microorganisms to prevent such infections. These infections can occur in people of any age group. Tresivac PFS Vaccine is to be administered by a healthcare professional. The first dose is generally given at 12 through 15 months of age. And the second dose is administered at 4 through 6 years of age. Do not skip any doses and follow your doctor’s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.
Side Effects : It may cause redness, pain, and swelling at the site of injection. It may also cause loss of appetite, drowsiness, irritability, and fever in some people. However, these are temporary and usually resolves on its own. Consult your doctor if these do not subside or they bother you. Your doctor will suggest ways to cope up with the side effects.
TRESIVAC (Measles, Mumps and Rubella Vaccine (Live) I.P.) freeze-dried is prepared from live attenuated strains of Edmonston-Zagreb Measles virus propagated on human diploid cell culture, L-Zagreb Mumps virus propagated on chick embryo fibroblast cells and Wistar RA 27/3 Rubella virus propagated on human diploid cell culture. Before taking it, inform your doctor if you are suffering from any liver or kidney problems. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctor before taking it.
